"Rowing the Ganges" Matted 11x14
A Hindu rower makes his living giving tourists tours in his boat. Hindus consider the water of the Ganges to be purifying. They bathe, make offerings, and cast the ashes of the deceased into the river. The Ganges is one of the most polluted waterways in the world.
